David Edward Gaudineer, 59, passed away October 10th, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa after a tough battle with Lymphoma. Dave was born in Des Moines, IA at Mercy Hospital on December 24th, 1954 to Irving and Darlene Gaudineer. He grew up in the Highland Park neighborhood then moved to southern California for 15 years before returning to Iowa. Dave started his own roofing business in Des Moines, Advanced Roofing and Construction, which he operated for 25 years. He enjoyed sharing his passions with friends and family including baseball, golfing hunting, fishing, and camping. He married Lori Ann (Bolton) Gaudineer on November 17th, 1984. Dave and Lori raised their children in the Highland Park neighborhood that Dave grew up in and they worked together to grow their business. He is preceded in death by his father, Irving Gaudineer, and his two brothers, Randy and Michael Gaudineer. He is survived by his mother, Darlene Gaudineer of Huxley, his sister, Kym Quinlan of Huxley, and his brother, Rick Gaudineer of Des Moines. He is also survived by his wife, Lori Gaudineer of Des Moines, his three children, Bo, Taylor, and Dylan Gaudineer, his granddaughter, Willow Marie Gaudineer and his nephews, Matthew Gaudineer, Brandon Gaudineer, Randy McBride, and Josh McBride. Celebration of Dave's life with friends and family will be held Sunday, October 26th from 3PM to 6PM at Union Park Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall (821 Arthur Ave, Des Moines, IA).
