Chris Alan Emmons, 60, of Waukee, entered his eternal life October 19, 2020 at Mercy One Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa.
Chris was born July 28, 1960 in Des Moines, Iowa to Janet and Earl Emmons.
Chris served in the US Air Force and later became a truck driver. In his younger years Chris enjoyed playing softball and riding and working on Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Chris had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. He was very loving and caring to his family and friends. Anyone who met Chris instantly loved him.
Chris is survived by his children Abigail (Danny) Gonzales and Joe Emmons, grandsons Will and Nile, mother and step father, Janet and Garry Schultz, sisters, Julie Grylls and Kim Dupuy, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Chris was met in heaven by his father, Earl, brother David and his dog Gizmo, who was also his best friend.
Chris will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
