Mark Chubby Pobanz, of Cedar Rapids, IA passed away Monday, November 28th. He lived with a lot of passion in every aspect of his life. He was a ferocious tattoo artist, and he loved skateboarding. He would give you the shirt off of his back, because he loved taking his shirt off. Chubby always made a big impression. He will be missed tremendously.

Chubby was born July 25th, 1984 to Gloria and Mark Pobanz, Sr. He was most recently employed at Wildside Tattoo as a tattoo artist, and as an ironworker at Cedar Valley Steel, both of Cedar Rapids, IA. Chubby was an extremely proud member of the Ironworkers Union Local 89. He was equally proud, but privately involved as a sponsor for Alcoholics Anonymous.

Survivors include his sons Ayden, Cash, and Ryland; three brothers and their spouses; eight nieces and nephews; and many other family members that he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Friday, December 9th at Watermark Assembly of God, 807 West Elk Street, Geneseo, IL. A celebration of his life will be held at 4:00 PM the same day.
