Kevin Michael Davis
May 9, 1987-April 22, 2023
Kevin Michael Davis was born May 9, 1987, in a hospital like most babies with a face that only a grandpa could love. Luckily for all of us, he grew out of his ugly duckling looks and became the beautiful soul we knew and loved with his signature belly laugh and a heart that shined brighter than his head.
Kevin was a great brother who grew up in a family that looked out for each other in their own way-like shoving their sibling out of the back of a moving station wagon but stopping to make sure they were okay.
He was a hard worker who was never afraid to get his hands dirty. Kevin was so many things to those who experienced him in his brief time with us, but we can all agree: he was gone too soon.
Our goofy Kevin was the type of man who'd give you the shirt off your back without a second thought. He was a trusted friend you could crack open a cold one with at the end of a tough day. He was a man that always had something to say with unfiltered honesty, or a joke to share that could make your day. He was a man who could unapologetically eat his body weight in tacos. He was someone who always put the needs of others above himself and carried it all on his shoulders.
Kevin was an amazing dad who loved to dance with and would go to jail for his "Baby", Zoey, in a heartbeat.
He was a loving soul to his fiancé & life partner of more than 10 years, Alicia. They were his life, his everything and he devoted his life to them.
We all suddenly lost an irreplaceable part of our lives on April 22, 2023. We lost our best friend, our brother, our "Daddy", our son, our Kevin-and the hole that will leave in all of our hearts could never be filled.
Kevin is preceded in death by his Grandpa Stanley Davis (who always said Kevin was the most beautiful baby in the world), Grandma Shirley Bouge, and Uncles Richard Cockrum and Andy Bennett.
He is survived in life by his Wife, Alicia Aguilar, His Daughter with Alicia, Zoey Davis, A Daughter, Molly Clair and Son, Oliver Clair, His Mother, Donna Cockrum-Bennett, Birth Father, Michael Davis, His Dad, George Bennett, Grandmothers, Sharon Davis and Deloris Butler, Sisters, Camilla "Cami Jo" Elliott (John) and Leona Davis, Brother, Jesse Davis, Step brothers, Dustin Bennett and Ryan Bennett, 9 nieces, 6 nephews and more friends and "adopted" family than we can count.
