Jerry was a terrific member of our 1961 SPHS class. He was a great football player, liked by lots of his peers and gave 100% in everything he did. Pat Kirby

So sorry to hear of your dad passing away. Both your mom and dad were very nice people. I spent a good amount of time hanging out with Tim (and Benjamin) at your house. It was always a joy to return to Liscomb and see your dad bring your mom to church while she struggled with MS. He was truly a good man. I'm celebrate with them that they are together again with the Lord and celebrating together. I bet they enjoy a dance together. God bless. Chad Whitmore

There will be a small memorial service for Jerry, not that he wanted one, at a later date, in Liscomb, with burial beside his wife, as per Jerry's wishes.
