Mardell Boles lit a candle in memory of Jerry Ramsey

Jerry and wife Joyce were great friends of mine when we were in high school and then after getting married. Along with Ron and Pat Woods we would trade around Saturday nights having each other for 'supper'. When it was my turn I always made home made tacos and the guys would have a contest to which one could eat the most. We square danced, we played cards of all kinds, and just enjoyed each other's company. Jerry was also in a room a very short distance from my Mom and they would visit with one another. I talked with Jerry when I went home to Osceola for my Mom's funeral. He was surprised to see me, but did remember me. I am sorry to hear of his death and send prayers to his children and family. --- Joy Ellis O'Dell --

My connection to Jerry was through my friendship with his daughter, Shelley, and his grandchildren. Shelley thought so much if her dad, visiting him often and taking him special things. They know can be together again. My condolences to the Ramsey family.
