I just learned of Michael's passing. My heart is so heavy hearing this news. Michael and I shared so many laughs together. He would always stop by my office and say hello talk about the topics of the day. Such a positive spirit and kind heart.

Michael and I went to our Junior/Senior Prom together. His mom told my mom that Michael was so excited about going to Prom with me that he was ready more than 3 hours before he picked me up. We had a wonderful time that night. We drove to Des Moines for Prom. It was the first time the school allowed us to have dinner and the dance in Des Moines restaurant.

I have had the pleasure of working with Michael the past 5 years. I will miss his love for castles and Harry Potter. I loved sharing my food and foody stories with Michael. It won't be the same going back to the office without him. My thoughts have placed him in a heavenly castle of his own. Miss you buddy.

I worked with Michael for many years, and he was always helpful when I couldn't quite figure out what was needed in an email. I never met him face to face, but I was always happy to work with him. He will be missed.

I’ve worked with Michael for the past 10 years. He was one of a kind! Always stopped by my desk to chat about gardens, flowers, his favorite restaurants and his family and best friends. Im so sorry for his sudden passing and your loss! I’m thankful he is now worry free abt his health and with his parents again. Sending comfort during this difficult time.
