Obituary
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle. Bobby passed on March 15, 2022 after he fought the fight with cancer for over 20 years with humor and grace. He was born on June 2, 1941 the second child of seven to Robert & Myrna Campbell. Bobby married his high school sweetheart, Linda and lived happily for 62 years. They have three children, Tim Campbell (Marcy), Tammy Campbell-Rastello (the late Tod Rastello; Fiance Garry Blackwelder), and Scott Campbell (Pamela). Seven grand children and ten great grandkids.
Bobby began his career in the Army at the young age of 17 and retired after 35 years from the Iowa National Guard as a Warrant Officer. He worked after retirement as a security guard at Pioneer Hybrid, allowing him to travel to pursue his many hobbies. He enjoyed black powder shoots, camping, hunting, fishing and archery shoots. You could count on seeing his ornery side during a good game of cards or hot dice. Special celebrations called for a good cigar from time to time! A Wall of medals showcased his competitive skill in muzzle loading shooting. He was a long time member of Beaver Creek Plainsmen.
Bobby loved his family. His face would light up when family and friends visited. The grandkids and great grandkids brought him much joy.
