Obituary
Richard Michael Fogle. age 52, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, died March 12, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs surrounded by loved ones.

Rick was born December 23, 1969 in Norwalk, California, the son of Kenneth and Sally (Bump) Fogle. Rick graduated from Burlington High School with the class of 1988.
After graduation he worked as a chef where he found his custom-made dishes eventually featured on the menu. He went on to work at Keokuk Steel Castings for a few years before he found his calling in sales and management with REX appliance and later Verizon. His real passion was in his creative works. Throughout his life he worked on many artistic ventures including authoring and publishing books and poems, recording his own music, and even working on writing and directing his own films.
He was an accomplished poker player having won multiple tournaments. He also really enjoyed playing with friends and family. Fishing trips and camp outs with his extended family and friends might have been his favorite pastime.
Rick is survived by his mother Sally Fogle of Hamilton, IL; brother Bob Fogle of Washington, IA; brother Tony Fogle and wife Megan of Cedar Rapids, IA; sister Jeanie Fogle Musgrove and husband Greg of Ames, IA; sister-in-law Angie Fogle of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.
Rick was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Fogle and broth Chris Fogle.
