Another memory I have of my father is at 16 when I started my first job at Wendy's. He told me not to be nervous and gave me a wad of money to make sure I had something to eat for my break. Every time after that when I'd go into work he would ask 'Do you need money for supper?' Even when I'd tell him 'no' he would make me take it anyway. He'd loan me the car to drive to work too even if it left him without transportation. One thing I've learned is if the man is dead set on something he won't take no for an answer and it's hard to change his mind.
One memory of my father while growing up was his love for peanut butter. He had to have his peanut butter with almost every meal. The most memorable meals with him were when he would put his peanut butter on bologna sandwiches and his steak and eat it in front of me. I would get so grossed out but he would never bat an eye. The man loved his peanut butter.
